The best ski style on the eve of Milano Cortina 2026.

On February 6, an Opening Ceremony will inaugurate the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which is being held jointly in Milan and in the Italian Alpine town of Cortina. In tune with the occasion—which will once again see Ralph Lauren outfit the U.S. Olympic Team and mark the debut of ski mountaineering as a Winter Olympics event—we’re diving into the ski and après-ski gear on offer for this season, whether your chance at Olympic gold is at stake or not.

APRÉS-SKI

After the last lift has finished its descent, get comfortable—and warm—in wintertime blue pieces like a Fair Isle wool-and-alpaca hooded sweater, a down-fill flight jacket, and leather trail boots. If your après affair gradually turns to dinner, consider upgrading to camel-hair trousers with a herringbone wool jacket and a cable-knit cashmere scarf.

When you’re preparing for a powder run, technical gear that still pays style dividends is key. Consider cotton-blend cargo pants and a full-zip wool sweater layered beneath our down-fill Team USA Flagbearer jacket. Alternatively, take to the slopes in a more muted direction with cream-colored corduroy cargo trousers and a similarly hued down jacket from Ralph Lauren Purple Label.
