Ralph Handmade Basket-Weave Suit

The Ralph jacket is a powerful silhouette directly inspired by Mr. Lauren’s personal preferences in tailoring. It features a wide lapel balanced by a contoured waist and a shorter length. The lower stance of the buttons is a signature of Mr. Lauren’s own double-breasted suits, which he wears fastened at the bottom button. Handcrafted in Italy, this version is developed with Purple Label’s soft Kent shoulder and realized in a basket-woven camel hair fabric. The soft, lightweight cloth was specially created for Ralph Lauren by England’s esteemed Joshua Ellis mill.
